GE Aviation
Initially the work involved the concept exploration of various cockpit display system components; using GL studio/open GL and C++ for modelling checklist functions.
After successful completion we were assigned to the development of ARINC 661 map components. The tools used were C/C++, Visual Studio, Eclipse/Java along with Presagis VAPS-XT.
Our feedback from the project leader was that performance met their expectations, was delivered on-budget and on-time. It was also confirmed that the knowledge of C/C++ was at expert level and that this programming delivered quick results that were of consistent high quality.
3Dmorphics
3Dmorphics needed an intuitive three dimensional design software package to enable biomedical engineers to automate device design customisation processes containing innovative methods and know how.
Our experience is MRCX has a wide range and depth of software expertise that we could not find elsewhere that enabled us to take our technology beyond what we thought was possible.
3Dmorphics wrote: MRCX quickly understood our needs due to an exceptional level of expertise in a wide range of applicable software design and architecture fields
Through their advanced understanding of efficient algorithm design and how to maximise use of hardware components MRCX re-engineered key algorithms increasing efficiency so our core algorithms run in real time where previously they had taken minutes or hours.
The re-engineering increased efficiency by several hundred percent. Real-time running of the algorithms expanded their applicability giving user interaction for an enhanced user experience.

“MRCX have consistently provided us with value for money, expert insight and advice. We think that working with MRCX software engineering has enabled us to create world class intuitive software. hence we have no hesitation in recommending MRCX to other business's looking to gain marketplace growth through the delivery of disruptive superior software technology".
Commissioning Support for NHS London
The National Health Service - NHS support unit quoted:
“Wrote complex SQL queries that populated the Claims Management Commercial Services Provider Performance Analytics Portal, a secure on line resource which enables National Health Service Commissioners across London to see how their providers are performing. Developed Procedures of Limited Clinical Effectiveness Reporting. This analysis identified savings of over GBP £200 million per year. Contributed effectively by combining advanced relational database management system skills with Management Accountancy expertise.”
Mayday NHS University Hospital
The National Health Service - NHS hospital quoted:
“Worked to a high professional standard and had a high level of integrity. Innovative with a high level of technical skill enabling a strategic approach to problem solving. We continue to use the systems that were set up.”
XVista-Biometrics
XVista initially started the development of a range of biometric applications over a period of several years to tap into a growing global biometric market by the commercialization of IRIS scanning research. We were appointed as the software development vendor to provide C++ software development services and consultancy to develop an IRIS scanning biometric system.
XVista quoted:
“We found the company to be thorough with a commitment to quality and they delivered to us a working robust solution, exactly to our requirements and budget. After experiences with several development companies I can honestly say that this company distinguishes itself from other software development companies in terms of quality, the level of expertise, value for money and the level of honest support and guidance they provided to us.”
“We continue to work with them and can thoroughly recommend them to other businesses.”
Ash Communications
Ash Communications is a design company specializing in the field of short range radio products in the avionics, consumer and business to business sector. Our company was engaged to perform software development for PC application software, and networking and real-time processing with a team of development engineers. We were instrumental in the design and development of network controller software for a real-time locating system working on 8 bit processors.
Isle of Wight Trust
In preparation for the establishment of the new National Health Service Trust we were engaged to set up the Income System. We created a database tool incorporating budget, actual and variance reporting and a hierarchical coding structure in the Oracle release 12 financial ledger and Business Intelligence Reports to support the monitoring process. This design structure enables the organization to monitor and report its income achievement against plan at Specialty and Healthcare Resource Group levels. It also established a clear process for creating invoices and journals. Supporting documentation was created which allowed a smooth handover, and the provision of ongoing system support.
The Trust quoted:
“Worked to a high professional standard, I have no hesitation in engaging again for future projects.”
Royal Surrey County Hospital
We provided analysis for the HRG 4 (Healthcare Resource Group) road testing exercise and built a database that priced activity and which compared the income attributed to the new HRG’s versus the former HRG 3.5
This involved reading and understanding the national payments by results guidance and rules, in order to build the database. This provided a useful tool for the Trust enabling it to accurately forecast income for service level agreement negotiations, and for long term financial planning.
We also worked with the Surgical Business Units to show them the implications of HRG version 3.5 versus HRG version 4. The database provides clear mapping of spells in HRG 3.5 to HRG4
The Royal Surrey County Hospital quoted:
“A very methodical and accurate piece of work where the initiative was taken to plan the solutions to the problem in hand. Flexible in the approach and can be relied upon to finish the task set. I would have no hesitation in making use of this service again, in the future.”
Western Sydney Local Health District
We were initially engaged to assist the Finance Manager at Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospitals to provide a feeder system to standardise employment related data inputs to staff budgeting models.
We played a leading role in implementing a budget setting methodology and created a budget history database. The budget setting methodolgy was then extended to include Westmead and Auburn Hospitals
Reports can be generated incorporating both dollar vale and full time equivalent FTE budgets, actuals, budgets and variance reporting.
MRCX developed Qlikview applications and created a district wide business intelligence SQL database that auto updates from a statewide system and documented how to roll forward the system to the next and subsequent financial years.
